Links our parts inventory with yours so you have the right parts on the shelf when you need them. As parts are used in repairs, your shop technicians simply scan bar code labels. Automatically each night, your PC downloads the list of used parts to us, and we’ll replenish your inventory as needed. Additionally, an optional Service, Preventive Maintenance and Scheduling module even lets your shop create repair orders, schedule maintenance and monitor all repair costs.
Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) require a regular service known as de-ashing or filter cleaning. This process is required to remove unburned lube oil that has accumulated in the DPF. The material that is removed from the DPF during cleaning is considered hazardous waste, and must be properly handled and disposed of in a safe and controlled environment. Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd.’s Brookside and Brandon locations have the machinery and processes in place to clean your filter and safely dispose of the ash.
DPF Cleaning helps reduce unscheduled downtime, identify potential filter deficiencies, increase service life, and results in longer filter life.
Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. offers the following DPF services:
- On-site cleaning for retrofit DPFs
- On-site cleaning for Cummins DPFs newer than 2007
- Cummins ReCon exchange DPFs for Cummins DPFs newer than 2007
- Ability to clean all makes and models of DPFs including OEM and retrofit DPFs
In some cases, a DPF may not be able to be cleaned by one of our cleaning machines and must be sent directly to the manufacturer. In these cases, Cummins Pacific has the processes in place to ensure your filter is returned as quickly as possible.
Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd.’s fully equipped mobile service vehicles can come right to you for routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
